These unique handmade live-edge chairs, created by Damien Devereux, are crafted from sustainably sourced wood which is dried in a custom-made kiln. These chairs are offered in various configurations to suit your needs, whether for use as dining chairs or outdoor garden furniture, each piece showcases the natural beauty of the live-edge wood.
Select from various options such as a 90° straight back for upright posture or an angled 10° back for added comfort. They also have two height variations: a tall throne-style variant (125cm) or a shorter style ideal for the dining setting (100cm). The seat design can also be customized to complement your aesthetic preference, with the option to have the wider side facing up for a cohesive grain alignment or the narrower side for a unique visual appeal.
As each chair is crafted from a single tree slab, no two chairs are the same as they exhibit their own individual shape and characteristics. The varieties of wood include red options such as Douglas Fir or European Larch, as well as white options like Sitka Spruce or Western Hemlock. Treated with exterior-grade Danish oil, these chairs are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The legs, fashioned from round peeled poles, may feature natural splits that add to the rustic charm without compromising structural stability. Please note that dimensions are approximate but are kept as accurate as possible to ensure a satisfying experience with your handmade furniture.
