These rustic shelves are handcrafted by Damien Devereux who is registered blind, with over 5 years experience as a carpenter. All wood is kiln-dried and sourced from a local sustainable woodland. Kiln dry wood is much more stable and unlikely to warp as it ages.
These shelves come in two different depths, a standard depth (20 cm) for storage and a more decorative slim variant (12 cm) for those with less space. The wooden boards are around 40mm thick with a total height of 140mm including the bracket. There are 4 different lengths available. If you'd like to customize these sizes please get in contact. The shelves have been finished with Clear Danish Oil to bring out the grain and provide a smooth protective surface. All shelves come with a fitting kit of the relevant screws and wall fixings.
The brackets are rated for a combined weight of 30kg when properly installed. These shelves are not able to support people; please do not climb them. The bark is not always present because it sometimes comes loose during the drying process and construction.
